1. Data controller

CamperPass collects the following data:

• Account data: email and username, provided voluntarily when creating an account.
• Location data: GPS coordinates, used to show nearby stopover areas and for the route recording feature. This data is collected only with your explicit consent.
• Usage data: anonymous information about how the app is used (pages visited, features used) through analytics tools.
• Advertising data: ads may be shown in the mobile app through Google AdMob. On iOS, tracking for advertising purposes only happens after explicit consent via App Tracking Transparency; without consent only non-personalised ads are shown.

3. Purposes of processing

• Provide and improve the app's services
• Show stopover areas, campsites and points of interest on the map
• Record and display your routes
• Send push notifications (only if you allow them)
• Analyse app usage to improve the user experience

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and on the performance of the service contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

5. Data sharing

Data may be shared with:

• Supabase: for authentication and data storage (servers in the EU)
• PostHog: for anonymous usage analytics
• Vercel: for hosting the service
• Google AdMob: for advertising in the mobile app
• RevenueCat: for in-app subscription management
• Firebase (Google): for sending push notifications

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data retention

Personal data is kept for as long as necessary to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
