It was once a picnic area but unfortunately very little remains apart from a few barbecue stations. The road to reach the spot is uphill, quite steep, not recommended for heavy vehicles. There is a trough with drinking water, shade and lots of outdoor space. There are livestock guard dogs but they are docile and used to the presence of people. During the day it might be populated but at night it is quiet. There is a fully equipped B&B a few hundred meters away for those who want to enjoy more comfort.
