We searched for a parking near to Pompeii but noticed all the parkings were within ZTL area(which we can’t go to). We found this parking side to the main road 15-20min walk to Pompeii. No signs at all-but a lot of Italian cars were parked so we guessed it were allowed to park 24h. We stayed around 4h and all worked well. It is a lot of traffic so it felt safe to leave the car unprotected(7m van). Maybe the parking can help you as well to visit Pompeii-I hope no problem for you for your visit.
