Parking on the heights of Locarno, quite difficult to access because the road is very very narrow. We were still able to access it with our VW Grand California but you have to have a strong stomach. A larger vehicle would not have made it. The parking lot is very large and is an ideal starting point to reach Cardada on foot, at the top of the cable car (about 30 minutes) and from there to set off on other hikes. Very quiet, just a few hikers and cyclists. We were alone in the evening.
