Free camping on the Gardosa Plain in Foce di Montemonaco is permitted only within the specifically designated areas. It is forbidden to drive cars and motorcycles on the meadows. Access to the local road is permitted only for loading and unloading operations after collecting the Pass. Parking is permitted only in the designated areas. It is forbidden to abandon waste of any kind on the meadows, in the woods and on the roadside. Waste must be deposited in the appropriate bins located in the Foce hamlet. It is forbidden to pick flowers and damage the flora and fauna in any way. It is forbidden to make firewood by cutting down fresh trees or shrubs. The collection of dry wood deposited in the undergrowth is permitted. It is forbidden to disturb the quiet of the mountain environment in any way, including the use of loud music equipment. The lighting of fires is permitted only inside the stone fire points present on site and with the presence of at least one fire extinguisher for each fire point. The carrying out of physiological needs on site is subject to the preparation of a special field latrine as per the provisions of the law. The burning of plastic materials, petroleum derivatives and similar is prohibited. The use of biodegradable or low environmental impact materials, detergents and cleaning products is also strongly recommended.
