Very spacious parking lot, a 10-minute walk from Porto Ercole, convenient for the beach below. It can fit about ten vans vertically, or you can park horizontally for more space, as they did with the van next to ours. There's no sign indicating a parking fee or that overnight stays are prohibited. Convenient for a one-night stop. It might be full on busy days at the nearby beach. We found it free during the week in late August. There are no amenities (no fountains, no bathrooms, etc.), but there is a bar a few steps away. A 20-25 minute walk takes you to the end of the Porto Ercole seafront, where there are well-maintained public restrooms equipped with showers.
