With few options in the area, I found a quiet place to spend the night before visiting Pisa. Several parking lots with plenty of available spaces, sometimes occupied by camper vans belonging to residents of this residential area. No services, just a quiet parking lot. A worry-free night. Slight noise of the kids playing basketball in the nearby area, the rooster crowing, the geese nearby, or the bells ringing the Ave Maria at 7:00 p.m. But take a stroll around the area; there are many other, perhaps quieter, parking lots. A bike ride of several kilometers is possible along the top of the embankment that runs along the river.
