We parked on the shoulder, suitable for a large, long car, next to the road. We spent the night and the day to see Varenna (Lake Como). Campers, caravans, etc., are not allowed in Varenna, so we could offer some options. There's a lot of traffic, and it's difficult to move the van, but it's an option due to the restrictions.
