The road to the lake is completely paved (the last 7 km is on a narrow two-way road) which for some may seem dangerous, therefore access to Camper and Van is prohibited. The road around the lake (4.5km flat) is dirt but without particular points (we have seen very normal cars). PASS To access the lake - you must have a pass which can be easily purchased in bars and beyond, just before in the town of Borzonasca. POINT The ring that surrounds the lake is equipped with natural plots, stone barbecues and some picnic tables, giving you the opportunity to find your own quiet corner, even the most intimate. FIRE In the period in which we went, the mayor's ban was in force given the current dry period but only and exclusively for improvised fires on the ground, it was not a problem given the presence of both stone barbecues. Of course, always pay attention especially in the area where we were under a pine forest. WATER There is no water source on site, the "Italy sources" application, however, informs one shortly before arriving, actually seen, a black pipe coming out of the mountainside. WASTE There are no rubbish bins on site, but there are on the way up about 5 km, so take everything with you, miraculously! WATCHMEN For the above reasons and others, I warn you that the area is guarded by rangers, therefore leisure when passing, without fire or camping.
