Ample and attractive space roadside (a quiet mountain road) with spectacular generous views down over villages and farms tumbling into the valleys, the lakes and the towns of Tortoli and Arbatax as well as a long stretch of the east coast. Watch the ferries come in at night from Italy from this mountain eyrie. Sheltered by the forest and mountain behind. Mega view of the sunrise over the sea. Mine is a coffee stop but I'd have no hesitation to stay here for a night. Flat cemented surface and a few trees for shade. No services of course but there is spring water across the road and tapped spring water a km or so back along the road at Parco Carmine.
