Accessible through a dirt road (only for small california style campers) on the right side of the main road, the last dirt road before the disused control center. You will pass through gates that remain open. You can then pick your spot around the lake. Only a few fishermen around (and sheeps of course) and they confirmed that this is an OK spot to stay for the night. We picked a spot on the cement platform on the right to make sure we will not be struggling with the sandy banks of the lake in the morning.
