Street parking is free day and night. We arrived late in the evening, slept here until morning and in the morning left the car parked here and went to explore Rome. We parked here without any problems for about 24h (We bought a 24h ticket and used public transport in Rome). But there is no romance here. Just a street where cars park lengthwise in both directions. But it's kind of quieter here. At night, there's rarely a car here.
